Dear friends and fellow Aloe Vera aficionados. My name is Billy C. Coats and I am the founder of the Global Aloe Vera business! That is a BIG statement, but it is true. I have just celebrated my 92nd birthday, and honestly, I am as excited today as I was over 60 years ago when I first discovered how to stabilize Aloe Vera which enable the world to enjoy the full benefit of the Aloe Vera plant in drinks, lotions and products that now show Aloe Vera as an ingredient.
I have written seven books about the benefits of Aloe Vera and it has been my life's work to keep improving on my first invention and bring the full power of the Aloe Vera plant to help people across the globe. “Not All Aloe Vera is the Same”
I am giving you this information as a backdrop to tell you that, “Not all Aloe Vera is the same”. My goal has always been to ensure that any product carrying the Coats name is the highest quality and contains the highest levels of Aloe Vera possible. I am here to tell you that is not the goal of other companies providing Aloe Vera products to the market.
In 2014 I was asked to work with the Food and Drug Administration “FDA” to set the guidelines to test the quality of Aloe Vera. These are the same guidelines that are in place today. Based on the guidelines that were agreed to by the FDA there is now a test that can ascertain if Aloe Vera is present and importantly the level of Acemannan (the miracle compound) found only in Aloe Vera.
We use a process called Nuclear Magnetic Resonance “NMR” to test the quality of the Aloe Vera in any product.

"You Have to Read the Label"
It may shock you to learn that when we tested some of the well-known brands that you see on the store shelves that some had very little Aloe Vera and in one instance the product had none! Unfortunately, a lot of people pay no attention to the ingredients label and rather look at the fancy illustration showing an Aloe Vera plant or leaf on the bottle believing they are buying Aloe Vera.
At Coats Whole Leaf Aloe “WLA” we are providing the highest possible content of Aloe Vera. Our unflavored drink is 99.8% pure Aloe Vera, with no added water, no fancy chemicals, and just the smallest amount of preservative that we can use.
When buying Aloe Vera products, I would encourage you to look at the Ingredients panel on the bottle. If the Ingredients panel shows Aloe Vera it will have a percentage of content in the formulation. If Aloe Vera is not shown in the ingredients list and is listed in Other Ingredients, then there is little to no Aloe Vera in the formulation.
